MADDFEST       Spring Arts Festival       

is a division of Mister Mac Behavioral Consultants, Inc., a 501-c-3 public charity and educational organization. 

Our corporate name is an acronym for Motivational Instructional Services Targeting Educational Reform of Marginal Adolescent Children.

Our most recent project is opening an Elementary Charter School, Shining Star Academy of the Arts, with over 200 students, grades K-6, enrolled.

We are excited to be hosting MADDFEST  on our School Campus this year!

History of MADDFEST Spring Arts Festival

It is the intention of MADDFEST to keep alive the dream that the late Dr. Alfonso Levy brought to fruition over 50 years ago.  Alfonso transcended race and brought our community together by integrating EVERY school in this county with art and music programs that are still in existence today.  His efforts unified Columbia County and Lake City as a multi-cultural hub of talent.

We believe our students deserve an outlet to create what is in their souls and hearts openly and honestly, without boundaries.  As we pass the torch to the next generation, we must enlighten and engage our youth to personify the future of Lake City.  It is because of the Arts in our schools that we have such a broad pool of talented students and graduates.  MADDFEST Spring Arts Festival ensures an ongoing promotion of the arts.

It was the dream of the late Alfonso Levy and the purpose of MADDFEST to preserve the arts in the community.  It is our mission to keep the Historical and Educational culture of the Arts alive and prosperous.  We, as a community and as individuals, feel obliged to continue producing nourishment for the imaginative and fertile landscape envisioned by our founder and his successor, Dr. Tony Buzzella.
